Help With RR Approved 218

I have a RR Approved Accutron with a 218 movement. It was running and humming great, then it quit running. I put it away for a while and then recently I got it out and decided to replace the battery. I did not find any objection to the narrow strap when I tried it. Quite a handsome watch.
