After much (probably too much) consideration, I'm preparing a purchase of this watch. What I'm wanting is a good looking analog beater. Something I can throw on a NATO and use hiking, camping etc. etc. (I already have a Gshock but want an analog option).

I'm finding very little info about this watch and/or brand. I have an opportunity to buy one used but I must confess I've never heard of this company (I'm relatively new to this hobby). Any quick words of encouragement or discouragement?

Has anyone ever had a Casio watch with 30m of WR damaged or ruined by water? If this hasn't happened to you, has it happened to someone you know?

What I'm looking to identify is common use, not necessarily swimming with such a watch for prolonged periods of time.

I have a Timex Expedition Arcadia and while I like it, I want to replace it with something from Casio. I've been over their offerings but can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. Ideally it would be:
-Analog
-Between 37 and 40mm
-Not have "Water Resistance" written on the dial
-Not plastic case

Preferences but not deal breakers
-50m of WR or more
-Date complication
-Black

I'm fully prepared to provide my own NATO strap so stock strap doesn't matter.
