Hi I have Gshock with a 5173 module.

It stopped working and so I changed the capacitor and performed the AC connection reset, but nothing happened.

Charged it using sunlight and although I then managed to change the time etc and all seemed to be fine it refuses to hold any charge.

I went to my local watch repairers , they tried a new capacitor to no avail, and offered to repair it for about £180.

Ive enjoyed a bit of modding with Seikos and was wondering whether there are any simple fixes I could try or maybe even replace the module.

I cant seem to find anything on the net?

Any experiences or ideas or should I confine it to the bin?
