Years ago I ran across this old B.W. Raymond wrist watch. It was in pretty awful shape but ran and I’d always wanted an Elgin durabalance mov’t. (this one has the 780), so I got it and put it away with my parts and projects. For sale is my 1960 Longines Conquest, ref. 9026, powered by a caliber 291 automatic movement. According to Longines this watch was shipped to Mexico in August of 1960. I’ve been wearing this watch daily for a little over a week. It’s running well but gains approximately a minute a day. I recommend getting it serviced if you’re going to wear it daily.
