I am looking for a lower cost field watch for daily wear. My only experience with Steinhart are their divers. I got rid of them cause of their bezels. I was not into them.

Saw the Ocean 39 with fixed bezel and thought it would be a good daily. This watch is in the running with the Hamilton Murph watch.

Any quirks I should now about the watch?

I like the design and do not mind the quartz movement. I just wish the movement was a little nicer considering the price.

I have for sale a mint Sinn 556A on OEM leather strap. All boxes and papers dated January 2025. Very new and only worn a total of three times. I wore it twice with the leather strap and once with the rubber strap which will be included. It has been sitting in my watch box since.

I understand that the vintage market can be a minefield. I have only dabbled with vintage watches in the past but they are definitely not my expertise.

I have always wanted a solid gold dress watch but I am on a brass budget (< $1,000). Instead of a SS dress watch, I was thinking vintage like a Hamilton with 982 movement or something else perhaps?

I guess my other option would be a Tissot Goldrun used in quartz. A modern production.

Any opinions or suggestions?
