I just found that Benrus is rolling out a full scale retool of its Type 1 Vietnam era military watch. They did the limited reissue type 1 about 4 years ago….for about the same price $1700. You can find them now for about $1000 usually. I love the watch, and it has been copied by numerous boutique watch manufacturers, but the $1700 price point seems high. Thoughts?
