Here's my evolution.

I started with dive watches when I was about 11, over 50 years ago. Then no watches until I was around 30 when I got into vintage drivers and obscure Swiss brands. Around 35, I got into new Swiss watches. That was the golden age of AD discounts. I could get any watch that my local watch pusher sold for 30-35% off.

It was great.

Then prices went up, discounts shrunk, as did my enthusiasm. For the last 5 years I've had a brief period of interest in micros and vintage...

Help me find a watch that is: very light, sapphire crystal, not huge, relatively rugged.
