Most have standard threaded backs easily removed.
But this Elgin Swissonic model is different and I’d rather not make a mess of it trying to access the battery.

No hint at all that it ever said Rolex on the dial.
One of the only watches I have that doesn’t seem to run but I’m sure a good cleaning/lubrication would take care of that. The time can be adjusted but its very hard to wind and I expect needs a good amount of winding to start it up. I don’t want to force anything.
