Good afternoon, so having taken my Certina Jubile (circa 1988) to have it's gaskets replaced, and a new battery fitted, I find it is running around 1 second fast per day. I decided to have a quick look inside the case to be certain of the movement type, and it is a 955.112. So this raises a few questions.

1. Could the new battery be the cause of the acceleration, is it likely to settle down?
2. Can these actually be regulated? I have read online it is possible to regulate the 955 by…

I have recently been drawn to these two rectangular (dress) watches, I would consider them for daily wear and I'm perfectly fine with quartz. I have experience with the ETA F06 series only, I don't have any first hand experience with Ronda, either Swiss Made or Parts only. Hamilton is a big beast, Duckworth is a little like a budget Fears: Revitalized English brand, resurrected by family member/s. Which would you have given a choice?
