The dial on my El-Cheapo eco drive has become free moving and rotates with arm movement. The chapter ring has remained fixed.

Does anyone know if the solar panel is physically connected to the back of the dial or to the movement?

Just trying to work out if this is something I can fix myself or if it would be expensive to have done. I guess financially it could be a write off.

In the photo, the hands are in the correct place for 07.05.
