Replacing a Pallet Stone

I found this as a non-runner for super cheap. Nice sweep seconds, second only to my Snowflake.

Things that impressed me:

• The afore mentioned smooth seconds sweep.
• Center seconds is both running seconds and chronograph seconds. Cool hat trick only possible quartz.
• Measures seconds much faster than conceivable human reaction time. Overkill in a cool way.
• +/- 10s/yr
• Case and bracelet are nicely finished for the price…

Even the case back and bezel have spalling from getting so hot. The dial is ruined, the crystal is toast (ha), what would you trust in the movement after getting that hot? And they cannot open it, so who knows what you are getting…
