I have decided to pull the trigger and purchase new Hamilton Khaki Power Reserve. I was thinking quite a lot if I should buy white or black dial version and still have some doubts.

Despite being busier this new dial looks more balanced to me. Looks like there is more space visually and numbers are smaller overall.

I have put this strap for 5 minutes and there is already problem with the hole. I'm not sure if I should return it immediately (will lose 20€ for back and forth shipping fees) or should I keep it?

What are your experiences with NATO straps overall? This is the first one and I'm not sure if it will hold a little bit to justify 40€ I paid for it.

Watchgecko Quality Issues – Advice Needed

Instead of buying yet another watch for hiking I have decided to utilize my beater Tissot Gentleman for this purpose but with a NATO strap.

What are your thoughts on it? Does it look completely out of this world or you can live with it?

Do you believe in Break-In Period for modern Co-Axial Omega movements? I'm particulary interested in 8800 caliber.

I have an SMP 300 which is 2 months old. Purchased from official webstore. Sadly it is constantly losing time.

I have tried storing it dial down, crown up, crown down and it is still losing 1-2 seconds every single day.

This is the only watch I wear at the moment so it is always in use and wound.

Movement Break-In Period is a myth?

I need help with finding a similar aftermarket bracelet for my SMP 300:

I have tried mesh bracelet today and it is too small for my wrist. I have tried Omega NATO and it is also not my thing.

In fact my favorite bracelet is this one (vintage watch bracelet, was with me for around 20 years or so)

I don't mind if it will have butterfly clasp.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
