My 1967 Glycine Airman with an
A. Schild 1700/1 movement. It is in extremely good shape given its age. I had it serviced by the Glycine expert. He dated it at 1967, the year the crown was started being used on the top of the dial. But mine doesn’t have it. Must have been implemented after mine was produced.
This came with a Grey leather Glycine band, it was kind of worn,
so I got this velcro strap.
I need to wear this more…

##WRUW Tuesday 22 April 2025?##

1960’s-70’s Mondia Top Second. The movement photo shows the red tipped paddle that swings by the dial hole once a second. I tried to attach a 3 second video, nope.
I had one of my watch repair guys service this, he had a very frustrating experience. He won’t service my watches anymore, doing only
” commercial accounts “.
It runs, but not real accurate.

## WRUW Tuesday 01 April 2025?##

One of my two oldest Vintage Zodiac Sea Wolves.
This came with the original Zodiac branded stretch bracelet, but the clasp isn’t signed…hmm. :unsure:. It has a date code 5-9, I’m thinking May 1959.
I had my Zodiac expert service it and re-lume the hands that looked poor as shown in one of the photos.
He said it is a 2nd or 3rd generation.

In the last couple days we have been posting a lot of Cool Bulova watches.
So keeping in that groove, I am starting our thread with one of my nicest vintage watches, that’s right..
a 1970 Bulova Oceanographer in awesome condition..55 years old.
I got this off ebay, couldn’t have been used much ,had it serviced .
It is running like a Swiss watch.
Oh my whadd’ya know, it IS a Swiss watch. This Oceanographer ,good for 333 feet under the sea, doesn’t have an adjustable bezel like some…
