As to be expected on a watch forum 
When it comes to cars I am very boring, I want something that looks ok, does the job and is reliable, I have had my current car (Toyota Avensis) seven years now it’s a 2011 model, in this time it has never let me down once and apart from yearly service, tyres/brakes/bulbs and a battery cost me nothing and it drives and sounds just like it did when I first bought it, I love reliability, over the years I have often kept a car for five plus years.
Early this year there was a nice old Jag for sale on SC which I really fancied but because the Avensis was still going strong I was reluctant/scared to go for it, it seemed pretty well sorted and if I could of got a year or perhaps two out of it before it started to cost silly money I would have been happy having had the pleasure of running the Jag.
The Avensis is still going strong but now with health issues I do wish I had gone for the Jag !! its all about timing 

No not that one.

I’ve had a niggly cough for a year or so but this year it started getting worse, so a couple of visits to the Doc, a couple of courses of antibiotics, two x rays which led to me having a CTI scan last Friday morning.

I got home and got a call from the hospital Doctors, they had looked at my scan and would I go in for further tests right away, so Friday afternoon more tests, Biopsies etc and it turns out my right lung is full of a black sinister mass which they believe is Cancer, bugger, will know more this week.

I was discharged late Friday evening and was told my case and others will be discussed this Friday at a Doctors meeting.

The next two nights I don’t think I have experienced pain like I did from where they took the biopsies and fluid samples from, brough a tear to my eye when I tried to move during the night

Suddenly priorities have changed somewhat but staying positive, not much option really

but I did notice while checking the time keeping on my X33 (bang on) the second hand hits every marker, all 60 !! I have to admit I’m impressed.
