Man, some real ups and downs at work this week. Monday and Tuesday saw me struggling a little with where to begin each day as the work began mounting up.
Took a deep breath on Wednesday morning and remembered what somebody once said to me the last time I felt this overwhelmed; Start at the beginning, and finish at the end.

Anyway, onto this week’s watches. Last Sunday saw me wearing the recently serviced Submariner 5513, seen here with a couple of packs of Baci chocolates…

So, Monday was a public holiday, Tuesday and Wednesday saw me working from home (not a fan), and yesterday and today started of slowly at work before getting slightly out of hand in the afternoons.
So, basically, this week was a little bit of BS.
Anyway, I wore the Seiko SKX009K on Tuesday (that’s the dive watch with the blue and red bezel);

Busy week and I didn’t get everything done. That’s okay. We have the King’s Birthday public holiday on Monday and I’ll also be working from home on Tuesday and Wednesday, so that should be more than enough time to catch up.

***Friday, May 30th, 2025 – WRUW?***

Okay, so it seems that this week saw me wearing what I refer to as ‘expedition’ watches.
I usually give this name to any watch that’s small in size, and has a dark dial with just four numerals at the cardinal points of the dial and easy-to-read hands. Basically, an Explorer-type watch.
I’m not sure if this is something that’s widespread among watch collectors and wristwatch websites, but that’s the kind of design layout that I associate with post-War exploration.
