Seiko Alpinist rotating compass alignment
Odd observation: Here (above) on my Alpinist, the W and E are perfectly aligned, but when rotated 180 degrees to E and W (left to right), they aren’t. I can’t make sense of this. It may be due to the rotating mechanism and how it maintains water resistance; not a simple translation. Not sure.
