So I've been looking for a field/military/tool watch option.

For reference, if my Citizen Promaster Tough (BN0118-04E) had a HAQ movement, I'd be done. But it doesn't, so here I am.

The two pieces that popped out for me were the Marathon Steel Navigator and the Cabot Watch Company TI300. Both watches are using the ETA F06.402.

I'm aware the two pieces are very different from one another, and for that matter, my Promaster Tough, but specific aesthetics aside, they all share a similar vibe…

I have the current quartz GMT, the SBGN027. It's a great watch, but the monochromatic GMT hand can make checking the time at a glance difficult in some light. Also, the 12/3/6/9 lume instead of full lume gets on my nerves. So I've been considering the older model, the SBGN003, which has the orange GMT hand and full lume.

One downside to the SBGN003 is that the rated water resistance is 100m, while the current models feature 200m.

However I can't see a reason as to why this would be the...
