Since the new millennium quasi all watch brands turned to "luxury" releases to "please" the public, prices going berserk, but do today's watch brands (executives, design teams,…) really know (care) what their target audience want/like ?
Seeing all the fashionable colors it seems they forgot the basic knowledge that " Fashion Fades but Style remains Eternal"

IMHO the issue lays even deeper as many toolwatches turned into bling bling items and some brands don't even have…

2022 Jacob & Co. Astronomia Bucherer Blue on ISS – International Space Station
April 2022, we already knew about the Omega Speedmaster 50th anniversary Silver Snoopy being worn by Axiom-1 astronaut Eytan Stibbe during 17 days onboard the ISS but it looks like he also carried a larger special iteration of Jacob & Co's "Astronomia" tourbillon watch in his personal kit!

50 years ago, I was fascinated by the launches of the unmanned Viking I & II spacecraft which were the first craft to show mankind clear images of the surface of the red planet Mars. As I had been doing with astronauts/cosmonauts I also wrote to all engineers of the unmanned spaceflight missions.
Every 26 months, as the Earth & Mars are in correct positions, a trip to Mars using an elliptical Hohmann transfer orbit can be initiated. Such an Earth-Mars journey takes about 9 to 10 months…
