Long layover so i made walk over to the AD. Now i understand the dutch can come off sometimes as a bit rude or lacking hospitality, or a bit dry….i suppose its a northern europe thing. It really makes you appreciate american (tho usually fake niceties) of hospitality.

So with that being said, the attitude of the guy at schiphol was worse than even the most pretentious of AD associates. Yes i get it, nothing is for sale, but you dont have to yell that to me when i take one step into…

Recently acquired a spring drive white birch and slowly building a strap collection for it. I have a few Artem straps, a nice ostrich one by veblenist, and a few Delugs on the way. I should have just used the original Grand Seiko bars that came with the bracelet when i swapped it to an Artem sail cloth, but instead i used the Artem supplied ones. Specifically the "standard" bars they give as an option on their site. Ive been wearing it on this strap for some days now with no issue…

After back and forth with full links, and half links, it worked out well.

Grabbed a White Birch the other day and have a bit of a delimma. First, i love the pin and collar instead of these tiny TINY screws. Pin and collar, if you have the right pin pusher, is so easy and fast to size a bracelet. I also think it more secure then screws. The white birch screws are so small, i dont even know how to thread lock…
