I have this Ardio watch, and I love the brass dial, but the tinkerer in me is wondering what it would look like aged. I think a darker tint would give it that 'chocolate' tropic look.

I have messed with my brass and bronze-cased watches in the past, and have used all the common tricks (bronze ager, citric acid, ammonia). However, this dial seems to be coated with something. I left it in the bronze ager for quite a long time and it had no effect. I am certain it's brass under there...

Looking for suggestions on how to patina a protected brass dial

Looking for something a bit different for summer. I'm torn between the orange and brass versions of this guy. 40mm. Thoughts?
