Hi all!

I was enjoying some macro photography of my 1964 Constellation, and started wondering what metals were used in the dial furniture/hands?

Hour markers
Date window
Star
Hands
Omega logo/writing
I know the hour marker inserts are Onyx.

Also, how impressive are the faceted Onyx inserts! Presumably this is so the light doesn't reflect in the same angle as the metal surround, leading to a darker black?

Hello everyone!

I'm looking to purchase a 1960s Omega, Seamaster or Constellation in solid gold to commemorate the birth of my son, and hopefully be an heirloom for him in the future!
