I visited my local Rolex/Omega dealer yesterday.
They have expanded the shop in the last few months. A much larger space over two floors now.
Marble stairs with brass banisters with matching fire extinguishers. Very nicely done. Down stairs they have a bar area with a small lounge and a wedding area with customer toilet.
They expanded into next door. A two year operation
apparently.
The original shop now totally remodelled is now a Omega boutique style with several hundred models.
They also now have a Rolex pre owned section.
Nicely laid out with a good selection at inflated prices.
They informed me they had around 70 Rolex in stock.
One thing that really surprised me was , he said the tickets are marked if the watch comes with box and papers.
I asked him to clarify. He said the CPO watches are sold with a Rolex warranty but no box if they didn’t come in with one. I thought was very odd. They put a hefty mark up over a new Rolex and do not supply a £100 box.
The shop and service were excellent. I took my Tudor chrono in for service as the manual wind had failed at 5 years old. £570 repair.
