I am posting this thread to keep tabs on myself, I have too many watch projects these days. I tend to set them aside and accumulate. Most are watches just needing a service. I also recently bought a pile of boxes from a closed watch shop. I thought it was mostly trash, turns out it is not… Lots and lots of bits to sort out:

Seiko SLA021 professional 300m diver box & papers

Hello,

I’m selling my SLA021 to fund a Leica R lens and a stack of watch parts and lathe collets…
I bought it at a local (French) Seiko boutique in 2020, it is a 2019 model without the pip at 3. Pressure tested by them two years ago, I misplaced the receipt. Accurate to less than 5spd in my experience. It has a sapphire glass, ceramic insert and some kind of antiscratching coating on the steel case.

Complete set, box, outer box, paper and tags with a seldom used steel bracelet, unused…

Advice about a 1806 Navitimer

Hello,

I am buying the remnants of a watchmaker’s workshop, not much to see but I still found this:

The serial being 12543xx and with an all black bezel, am I right to assume this is an early 1969 model ?

I would then need a Buren 11 white movement and the early handset to rebuild it convincingly.

Any suggestion is welcomed…
