Anyone familiar with the international airport in Taipei? I have time to kill and want to go window shopping. Are there any recommendations on boutiques in this airport? Another question are there any advantages to buying a watch at this airport? I know that where I live in Kon Kaen, Thailand, watches at the mall are more expensive even when offerfed with a discount than in the US due to VAT. I most likely won't make a purchase, but just want to be well-informed.

My current stay in Thailand is coming to an end, and I will be heading back to the States for a short while before returning to Thailand after New Year. A while back I started having an interest in a Bi-Compax Chronograph to fit into my existing collection. My price ceiling was set at $3.5k but I really wanted to keep it under 3k.
