The first proper watch I bought some 20 years ago in Oman was the Seiko SKJ045 (5M43-0B30). I saw the SKJ048 (also 5M43-0B30) next to it, but thought it was a bit flash for my 22 yr old self. I got the 045 for a bargain price out there, and when I saw how much they were in the UK, some 6 months later - I was kicking myself.

Scroll forward 20 years, and I finally managed to get hold of a mint condition 048.

Only thing is my 045 is showing its age now.
