I am looking at an Armand Nicolet watch. It seems nice but are they over priced? Swiss manufacture. $650 on one site for a discounted watch valued $2700.

I like the watch but am hesitant to shell out the cash.

Quality of a watch I seek

I just got a Heritor Everest with a cherry wood bezel. It has Chinese Automatic 2813 movement.

I am not fully enthralled. The watch band was small (leather) and I put a new hole in it. But the movement is edgy and lightly jumpy. I know with the hole I drilled it is not a return. I paid $84 for the watch. Otherwise nice enough for a sticky Tuesday. I think the other Heritor watches are mostly Japanese Movement.

The dream may go to a Manager watch.

i like both the Revolution which is mechanical and I like the Open Mind which is automatic.

the problem is the web site for Manager watches will not call up in any of my browsers.

has anyone had experience with these Swiss watches? I want to buy but may not if I can not get the internet to give me contact info to either repair or query.

i guess if I do I may goto a grey dealer. They have driven some deals.
