I saw a video about how a Vostok amphibia watch got galvanic corrosion on its crown tube. I heard that this is due to the brass crowns Vostok use for their watches.

I was surprised to hear this as I thought watches that are meant to be dived with (indeed any modern watch really) would have stainless steel crowns.

This has put me off buying an amphibia. I was going to until I saw the video. Here it is:

Hi, how do I go about selling watches. Not just here, but in general. Is there a "best method" to it. Do I need to buy generic watch boxes wholesale to put the watches in assuming that the original boxes have been trashed, which in my case they have. Do I need to use bubble wrap etc. Do I need to keep some sort of bookkeeping log etc. Do I need to write a detailed description of the condition of the watch, such as scratches and wear tear issues.
