I recently replaced the battery on my GDF-100-1A. When I was replacing the rubber cushion that protects the module I noticed a 2nd spring. It was wedged between the module & case and would have been held in place by the rubber cushion. There seems no possible place to locate it in the module.

Looking at the rubber cushion there's only one cut out for a spring from the module to the piezoelectric speaker which is in place. After the new battery, AC the watch functions as expected including...
