Those of you who are familiar with my other posts will know I’m not one to shy away from a challenge but this watch has been on my To Do list for quite some time.

I bought it, broken, 4 years ago for what seemed like a great price. Sadly it was still such a stupid amount of money that I was terrified of doing more damage.

Now time has dulled the financial pain and I find myself with no other projects to work on so here goes!

Clasp end link source or ideas

I’ve recently picked up a vintage Omega. It needs a little work and one of the things that needs fixing is the bracelet to clasp join, at some point the last link must have been damaged or lost.

This is the previous owners solution to the problem.

Not ideal.

The bracelet links only have a hole on one side for resizing so I can’t put a spring bar all the way through the last link.

This is the part that is missing.

Richard E Grant has worn two watches by mistake

Did any other Brits here see Richard E Grant on the Masked Singer this weekend?

It appears he owns two of the finest watches available to humanity and loves them so much he wears them both at once.

Looks like a Santos and Gold Breitling Navitimer to me.

Very nice, I would wear them both too… or perhaps he didn’t fancy leaving either in whatever shonky hotel ITV put him in. ;)
