I need help from the experts. I have a Seiko SRP779 (Pepsi Turtle) that had been running consistently +5 sec. per day. It just went crazy last week. It is currently losing 2 min. per day. I put it on my timegrapher (lift angle 53). Here are the numbers:

  • 4 position average is +6 per day (face up, face down, 12 down, 3 down).
  • Beat error average is .01.

I put it on a demagnetizer and reran the numbers which were the same.

As an amateur, I've successfully regulated...
