Hi,
I've just ordered a new and unworn black bay bronze and I'm really looking forward to receiving it.

However, since ordering it I've done some further reading about how the patina will develop.
In doing this further research, I came across some photos of someone's watch where the crown had eroded away, losing the Tudor rose emblem and the case had changed shape!
It was suggested that it was caused by skin acidity and Tudor had to replace the case and crown at customer cost.

I suppose…

Maybe some of you will remember my post from last month about my first TH and first "expensive" watch, the orange Aquaracer.
Well, unfortunately for me the Aquaracer was a trap watch.

I've been collecting watches for a long time. Mostly Seiko and Russian stuff. All of which I really enjoy.

I would, at some point like to add something a little different to the collection. With consideration into budget.

For example, I love the Omega Seamaster 300, but I can't bring myself to spend £5000+

When looking in Goldsmiths yesterday I happened to notice a very pretty Aquaracer with an orange dial. It was still wrapped in plastic so it was hard to fully gauge the quality...

I've always fancied a stainless steel OKEAH, but the cost has always put me off.
I have a Cyrillic civilian 3133 which I'm reluctant to wear, because it's mint. The plated case puts me off.

Recently I've seen poljotuhren and poljot24de on eBay both have a remanufactured OKEAH with the seagull movement. They're affordable, look pretty cool and tick the box.

My questions:
Has anyone bought one of these?
Is there any difference between either sellers product?
Any comments on the quality...
