I have had mine a few weeks and it's fantastic. Over the previously owned '58 I prefer the glossy dial, the higher contrast on the bezel, T fit clasp and the thinner case.

Why isn't there one of these yet?

Let's see yours, particularly interested to see other straps (anyone had one on an Admiralty Grey Phoenix NATO?)

I had a custom open ended strap made for a vintage watch but it arrived without the glued sections where you normally apply some nail polish remover...

I had a custom open ended strap made for a vintage watch but it arrived without the glued sections where you normally apply some nail polish remover to ‘activate’

What should I use for this purpose? I presume there’s a glue I can apply without needing to take the intermediate step, but this step also allows neater preperation (I have visions of glue going everywhere except where needed!)

I have the correct clamps etc to hold the strap as it sets.

Any advice gratefully received, thanks
