I’ve been trying to source a modern Speedy bracelet recently (Apollo 11 50th) and noticed out of about the thirty or so A11 Speedmasters I’ve seen for sale the bracelets are all engraved with GJB, HJB, IJB, HIJ or JJB like this photo.

I found a bracelet for sale finally and was going to purchase it and noticed it’s just got III engraved on it at the links and clasp.

It seems weird that it’s literally the only one out of 30+ of these that I’ve seen with that engraving that…

Hi, wondering if anyone can help – I’ve purchased a Speedmaster 57 bracelet to put on my 1861 model, which has a clasp that looks like this

but want to know if I can buy just the clasp from an Apollo 11 bracelet and put it on in place of the current clasp? The Apollo 11 one looks like this

Someone on Reddit reckons that Forstner have updated it so that it now no longer has the micro adjustment holes on the clasp and instead uses a tool free sliding system like you’d find on a Rolex glidelock or such.

Can anyone confirm if this is actually correct information if they’ve bought one recently?
