Pre-owned watch sellers love this term too.
It gives a vintage watch a certain "descriptive charm".
In reality, a tropical Dial is a "Moisture Damaged Dial"!
Are there any other watch description terms that you just love?

All I can say is that pix don’t come close to showing how gorgeous this watch is (nor does the crappy camera on my 4 generation old iPhone).
It’s stunning in the sunlight.
And it’s so thin.
And I love the bracelet.
The butterfly clasp looks gorgeous, almost like there is no clasp at all, but it’s too fiddly for me.
I have the micro-adjust clasp coming in a few weeks.
I really must give a shout out to Leonardo Jewelers in…

Tariffs, Your Portfolio, and Watch Buying
Since the tariffs were announced, my portfolio, and I’m sure many of yours also, have dropped considerably.
I’m seriously considering backing out of purchasing my grail watch. It’s just not a good time, financially, to be spending $11K on a luxury item.
BTW, I’m 68 and retired.
Anybody else also not planning to buy a watch, or any luxury item for that matter, until all this economic uncertainty is over?

Ingenieur Purchase Questions
I’m smitten by the blue dial IW328907 Ingenieur and am considering buying one.
Are any dealers in your area offering discounts?
Also, can I purchase it with the micro-adjust clasp and do away with the cost of the butterfly clasp?
Yeah, I know that’s asking a lot.
Thanks all.

Which Would you Buy?
Assume both are the same price, which would you buy?

Anybody?
Who’s had theirs the longest?
I’m looking for comments on daily comfort, accuracy, how does the case/bracelet hold up to daily use/scratches, has the external AR coating scratched etc.
Any other pluses/minuses, comments?
Bonus points for pix.
Thinking of getting one but probably not at the MSRP!
So preowned is the way to go for me.
Thanks all.
