It is an older T model that I do know. It looks like an older 27 or 28?

I've always been fascinated by Corum but like many others have found the designs odd and even damn right garish at times. But they do produce some great innovation. The bubble, coin and bridge for example.

I wanted to try a bracelet for my iw371702 and since it is an older model the original bracelet isn't available new anymore (at least I couldn't find one).

I therefore bought a non branded aftermarket one from China. These are typically for the petit prince but is

I was disappointed to see that it doesn't fit!

It appears the lug holes are too far forward and so whilst the end sections do fit flush when held in place, when using spring bars fitment is very off.

I've had a speed master in the past which was ok but nothing special. I now have a seamaster apnea which I like but since I bought an IWC I've realised that the Omega just isn't "special" compared to that. I also have a Rolex explorer 2 42mm which is a great watch.

I guess in all honesty I place Omega in the same bucket as Brietling. Nothing special and super generic.

Am I being irrational!?

I've bought a steel bracelet for my spitfire chrono and it would be nice to not worry about water.

A local guy has a black Stratos for sale. Cool as #### and I really want it.

The problem is the PVD coating is a disaster thanks to poor Zenith factory implementation. Acid in sweat eats at the coating…

It is being offered at a great price and it is boxed with papers. I wonder if I could sand back the bad areas and touch it up with blueing gun paint?

Or should I walk away?

I'm considering buying a Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver for my 50th.

Unfortunately I strongly dislike their straps with those metal branded inserts...maybe ok in Dubai but not my taste.

Does anyone know if aftermarket "normal" rubber straps can be used whilst retaining the UN deployment clasp?
