Chapeau to Corum.

I’ve always been fascinated by Corum but like many others have found the designs odd and even damn right garish at times. But they do produce some great innovation. The bubble, coin and bridge for example.

Aftermarket IWC bracelet doesn’t fit my older Spitfire Chronograph!?

I wanted to try a bracelet for my iw371702 and since it is an older model the original bracelet isn’t available new anymore (at least I couldn’t find one).

I therefore bought a non branded aftermarket one from China. These are typically for the petit prince but is

I was disappointed to see that it doesn’t fit!

It appears the lug holes are too far forward and so whilst the end sections do fit flush when held in place, when using spring bars fitment is very off.

Do I assume that the order…

Going off Omega, not “special”, just “meh”

I’ve had a speed master in the past which was ok but nothing special. I now have a seamaster apnea which I like but since I bought an IWC I’ve realised that the Omega just isn’t “special” compared to that. I also have a Rolex explorer 2 42mm which is a great watch.

I guess in all honesty I place Omega in the same bucket as Brietling. Nothing special and super generic.

Am I being irrational!?

I am considering selling the Apnea for a Ulysse Nardin diver. I consider that a far more “special”…
