Continue readingWell, this is awkward. I have a 3570.50 (1861 Speedy Pro), fully serviced in 2020 by Certified Omega watchmaker. Today, I picked up the watch, wound it, and tried to set the time. I pulled the crown out to the first position, and the entire crown and stem came out as if they were dipped in butter—no friction whatsoever.
I pushed it back in, and now the “zero” position (the manual winding position) is gone…
