Custom Turtle build. Has an aftermarket "mango" waffle dial like the Seiko SRPH38 Philippines Sunrise, but without the gold accents. Built from the following parts:

Seiko 4R36 movement from a SPRD, which also donated its hour and minute hands (second hand is aftermarket).

Crystal times turtle conversion case, crown, and domed sapphire crystal.

Coin edge bezel with 12-hour lumed ceramic insert.

Aftermarket dial and chapter ring from Ali Express.

It's been a while since I bought a new-to-me watch and I've got an itch for the Black Bay 68 with blue dial. I'm tall and stocky with a large wrist, so I think I can pull off the size. That said, I live in the boondocks and the nearest AD to possibly see in the metal is about three hours away.

Normally, I'd just buy a lightly used example to try and if I don't bond with it, flip it without (hopefully) losing much money. However, I feel like there's something of a new release premium still...

Up for grabs is a vintage Seiko 7016-7000 “flyback” coaxial chronograph with blue dial. This model was only produced for about six months and this particular piece dates to March, 1977. The case diameter is 39 mm and the thickness is 13.5 mm. Comes with extra link (not shown) to fit a very large wrist, up to 8 inches.

Up for grabs is a rare Seiko “Sawtooth” quartz diver with gorgeous orange dial. You don’t see these come up for sale too often.
