Its probably 2 years since I put my name down for a White Explorer II

I received call from Rolex AD but couldnt take it, so they left a message.

The message was that they had some exciting news and had been able to allocate me a watch.

Strangely, I didnt feel excited by news, especially when I saw retail price of £8,550.

It also appears that they are not in high demand in Grey market.

I have recently bought a couple of White faced watches and at list price not looking good as an investment.

I called back and declined.

I wonder how many calls they had to make to find a buyer?

I do find the attitude and process for buying a new Rolex off putting and wonder how long before discounts will be available, which was the case when I bought a Submariner many years ago.

I seem to be going through a Yellow watch phase

Having said that I have just bought a White/Silver IWC Pilot XX and White Tudor 1926 to balance out all the Black and Blue watches

I Have a Yellow Doxa and have been looking at Breitling Avenger Seamaster in Yellow.

Would be interested in any recommendation.

Im thinking of buying the IWC 328208 White, bracelet model list £5,500

I see a few online suppliers offer vouchers around £350-500 but wondered if anyone has recommendations on best place to buy and levels of discount likely?

Also interested in any feedback on this model or owners experience as I am new to IWC.
