40’s Le Coultre watch service

I just wanted to get your thoughts about getting this Le Coultre watch serviced. I received it from a friend and have no attachment to it really.

I would want the iridium removed and replaced with new lume.

So, is it really worth it to get it service…

So, my friend who owns a jewelry store got this in and I purchased it from him.
It appears to be a 40’s military model to me.

any thoughts?
