Wembley in sight!

Went down to AFC Whyteleafe for the first leg of the FA Vase semi final v Andover New Street which we won 3-1, Second leg at their place next week.

We outplayed them for most of the game and their goal was against the run of play TBH.

It’s brilliant to be in the last four of the almost 600 teams that started in the competition.

Not bad for a club that has only been going 5 years and was started from the ashes of the old Whyteleafe FC!

I’ve had a low heartbeat for years but lately I’ve been feeling a bit breathless ( possibly not unusual at age 72!) and my Doctor has referred me to a cardiologist with a view to having a pacemaker fitted.

Supposedly a new lease of life although I am hardly disabled, mowing the lawn and going to football etc.

Anyone had one fitted? What’s your experience?
