I've often been on the verge of buying a 44GS or 45GS Vintage, but have always backed out at the last second. But now the decision was actually made the second I saw this watch on Instagram - at the latest when I read the specs. Almost 1:1 to the historical model (with a more wearable size for me) and the new 5Hz Hi-Beat caliber 9SA4 with manual winding and 80 hours power reserve. That's it - take my money Grand Seiko.

Okay, limited to 1,200 pieces, that doesn't bode well for the German...
