Hey all. Quick question for you guys that know much more than I do.

I’ve been looking at buying a new watch. Browsing eBay I found a possible and it was in Japan. The watch was priced at $600 or so, maybe a bit lower. On the shipping he had the cost listed as $148. Looks a bit strange to me. It was listed by a seller with a shop name, not an individuals name.
I decide to ask him a question. I ask how it can cost $149 to ship a wristwatch to the USA. He replies by telling me

Hey all.

I’m interested in a Diver style watch and want something nice. My price limit is $1500. I’ve done a bit of reading and watching YT stuff and the Longines HC seems to get a lot of respect. I started checking their line and the one that I prefer is the HC 44mm in blue. I like bigger watches.

what I’d like to know is whether there are others in this price range that are as good or better that I should also be looking at.

Hey all.

I’m getting ready to buy a nice watch. I like the larger case watches and would like something this time with some color. The 2 main contenders are the Seiko Sumo Chrono and the Tissot Seastar 1000 Chrono. Both are quartz movements.

Which one do you think is the better watch? If you were going to get a Chrono and had to pick from these, what would you pick and why?

Hey all.

I have never owned or even handled a Steinhart watch. They do have some great looking watches. I emailed them to ask a question or 2 and got nowhere. So, I thought I’d ask you guys for your thoughts.

I like and prefer BIGGER watches. They’ve got a 300m and 1000 meter deep dive watches. Onein blue and the other black. Affordable too.

Id like to know what kind of reputation they have. Are their watches looked at and thought of as a quality option in the $650 area?
