I’m having an issue with my OVM bracelet.

First, I love my OVM. I also love the bracelet–I haven’t had an oyster bracelet in years and I can’t believe how comfortable this one is.

That being said, I lost one of the threaded pins a month or so ago, and needed to order a replacement from Steinhart (no issues, 2 replacements arrived without trouble for an acceptable price.)

A couple weeks ago the watch fell off again, but I was lucky enough to find the pin in my jacket pocket, so I put it back together and wore it again, but…

I’m having an issue with my OVM bracelet.

What’s your favorite seconds hand?

I do like a plain, straight (non-tapering), red seconds hand that reaches all the way to the edge of the face like this:

And I also like the spear pointed hands that come on the MOD dive watch faces with sword hands like this:

But in my opinion, the coolest/classiest seconds hand is the one Seiko uses on some of their Marine Masters, and especially those with the red index on the tip like these:

Interesting Gruen Precision

This (I assume) manual wind Precision has a pointed gemstone on the crown. I’ve seen pictures of those with the smaller, darker, rounded stone, but not this one. I found a pic online of a ladies watch with a crown like this, so i wasn’t sure if i have a watch with a replacement stem, or if I have something interesting.
