White dial dress watch +-38.5mm size for around 1k (new or used) that can hold it's own in a collection of watches of 5k to 15k?
So when you need to use it (not that many times) you don't try to reach towards more expensive sportier models in the collection, because they look better.

Any suggestions? I was thinking vintage but around 38mm vintage Omega Seamaster go for 2k+.

I played the game and lost.

2 years ago, i decided i would really like to buy myself a Rolex Yachtmaster 40mm. I knew everything about Rolex availability, but thought Yachtmaster is not really high in demand so maybe i'll get it in a year or something.
