Letting go…

Letting go is harder than it seems. I’ve decided that having 65+ Soviet watches is a bit too many. Sold 8 of them this week. Will sell another dozen or so. But. But, but, but. It’s not easy letting them go. They were collected over the years. Through connections, searches, catch and releases, disappointments, excitement. I always called these orphans. Need quick help with ETA 2892A2 and/or Alain Silberstein

Looking at the Alain Silberstein watch and seriously think that it’s not real. Please see the pics and let me know what you think? My concerns are:

1. The caliber doesn’t really look like ETA 2892A2 (I’m not versed enough need help with that),

2. ETA2892A2 might not have an ability to run 12 and 24-hour sub-dials (this is more Lemania 5100 thing, but that doesn’t look like Lemania either?)

Help identify real or fake Monaco?

I was offered a watch locally that is a square Monaco non-Chrono, blue dial. Allegedly about 10 years old, but no box or papers. The markings on the back of the case are WW211 for model (seems right) and vl0636 for serial number. A couple pics of the caseback are attached. Can anyone help me identify if it’s real or fake and maybe help with the current value? I like Monacos a lot but small wrists… if this one is real and a good value, willing to try and live with it.

Thanks in advance…
