I have a six-watch box that was a gift from my wife when I started “collecting” watches, which I suppose was when I had more than 3. When she gave it to me, she said I need to keep my collection to 6, and while I’m sure I could push back on this, I actually find it useful to limit my collections, and for watches, I find 6 to ba a good number. I picked this up at an antique store today. It was the only interesting watch-thing in the place. Though I couldn’t easily identify a name, it seemed to want to run, and the dial and hands are in excellent condition, but also it was a no-brainer, because the wooden box it came in was easily worth the $10 I paid for it.
