So, my collection is full of black and silver/grey dials (one 90s champagne dj tho but not exactly a daily) and now I’m looking for a blue dial.

I really like this one. Have tried the black version but I like how the orange looks with the blue more. Looks more fun/lively. The whole design is giving me Ingenieur vibes if IWC made a more fun diver version. Very original…but…

Doxa Sub 200 or 600?

Hey guys,

I’m looking into a new diver that’s NOT another submariner derivative. So, no homages, no oris 65/omega 300/seiko 62mas..etc…

I know the sub 300 is the most liked but unfortunately, I just don’t like how it looks and not much interested about the Cousteau history. For a cushion style, I prefer seiko’s turtle or willard due to their cleaner aesthetic.

Anyway, I had my sights on a Sub 200 reissue but then the 600 has been growing on me.

Odd Sized Lug Width

Hey all,

Who else here is tired of all the whining with regards to odd sized lugs (19mm, 21mm etc)?

I look at reviews and when the lugs aren’t “standard,” reviewers are all, “it will be HARD to find straps that will fit and you will be FORCED to buy special made straps from the manufacturer for $$$$…”

Uh, NO it isn’t and NO you won’t.

It’s 1 millimeter.

I’ve routinely squeezed in 22mm straps (nato, rubber, leather) into 20mm lugs because I’m a cheap SOB who doesn’t want to…
