Victorinox Dive Master 500 241428
Quartz. Poking around on eBay and other sites I'm surprised how much some people are asking for this. I had the movement replaced a few years ago. There are scratches from wear. The original strap is included, but it's pretty stiff and cracked. I have it on a replacement rubber strap with an orange pattern. I put the Victorinox buckle on it. I also have an orange nato strap around here somewhere I bought for it. No box or papers.
$400 with shipping…

How far from your average purchase was it?

Inspired by the "Luxury Watches vs. Index Funds on a Middle-Class Income: A Thought Exercise" thread.

Almost all of my watches are sub $500 buys. One or two pushed $700. But I don't regret paying $1650 for my Mühle Glashütte, close to 4x my average purchase.

I actually use both complications on my Citizen eco-drive. My GMT hand is set to Berlin where my daughter lives. I use the dive bezel several times a week when I'm cooking. Now I'm considering going us a level to a nice automatic. Around $3k +/-? Here's the required pics.
