I’ve been looking at a new car and nipped into a local BMW dealership at lunchtime. I only had time to look rather than drive but the X1 was really comfortable as soon as I sat in it. I’m looking at a 2018 model tomorrow and I’ve read that there’s a lot of road noise and wondered if anyone could shed any light?

At the other end of the scale I like the Ford Puma too.
